Jason has spent the last 15 years managing customer experiences ranging from big box retail companies like Target to large scale customer experience operations at Capital One and Vast Bank. Over the past decade he has seen the transformation in the customer experience environment as the culture in the industry has progressively moved from traditional call centers to integration, automation, and the introduction of AI into the business as well as the move to a remote working environment. In his past roles he has built out several contact centers both physical and remote locations. Jason has observed firsthand the introduction of FinTechs into the banking world over the past several years, and he dedicated the last three years to specializing in learning what it takes to integrate them into a bank. In addition to integration, Jason has worked with FinTechs on servicing and account management of clients and vendors. Through this process he has gained a firm understanding of operations, process management, and the need to be well document in order to achieve success in this emerging industry.
What do I enjoy most about FPB: Their culture of supporting their employees and putting family first. Additionally, every person I have interacted with has made me feel like I am a part of the FPB family. Lastly, FPB is forward looking mean they understand that Banking in changing and instead of doing the same thing we have always done, they are willing to shift and flex with the changing environment.
What I want the average person to know about Fintech: Fintech simply means Financial Technology. Generally, these are products or applications produced by companies to make every day transactions easer and accessible to more customers. Customers want speed and access; a Fintech is a way to get both. In addition to access and speed Fintech also provides automation to Banks and Partners to achieve consistency. Believe it or not, most people are interacting with a Fintech on a daily basis from your investment applications to your mobile banking applications more than likely they have leveraged a Fintech to support a portion of their programing.
Personal Notes: I have been married for 18 years with three kids. I enjoy most competitive actives like football, baseball, and basketball. In my spare time I coach my twin boys 5th grade basketball and flag football teams. Hobbies are art specifically drawing.
