Clay Carden joined FPB as the Sr. Vice President and Director of Mortgage in July 2023. Clay’s 23 years of experience has him extremely well-respected for construction lending, mortgage lending, builder relationships, working with realtor teams, and developing professional lending teams.
Clay grew up on a farm in Tahlequah, OK and after graduating Northeastern State University he moved to Oklahoma City where he started his family with his wife Carrie and they had their daughter Nicole. Clay is an avid college sports fan, a former wrestler, and he played Rugby for 14 years.
After relocating seven times across the US as a District Manager with a large national bank, Clay decided it was time to stop uprooting his family, so they settled in Owasso, OK. Since that time, Clay has been in leadership positions in community banking where he has focused on helping local communities grow. He has helped hundreds of families, builders, realtors, businesses, and even fellow team members achieve their financial growth and goals, and he is committed to use his work ethic and experience to continue helping clients and his First Pryority team be successful.
